After the concerts at London, Lisbon and Paris in previous years, the eternal city was pending for the Company Opera and, finally, could be performed. The past weekend was very significant for the choir of the SLC, one hand playing Vivaldi in their country of origin, the other to spend their free time to enjoy the most emblematic places in the city of the Tiber.
The concert took place on Saturday June 7 at the Pontifical Spanish College of St. Joseph. The affection with which the choir was hosted by Don Mariano Herrera, Rector of the said center, the Rev.. P. Don Tomás Amable and other members of your community was enough boost for the choir will line with a high degree of interpretation, recognized by all attendees. Standing, with effusive applause, the audience did the repetition of the first issue after a few heartfelt words of thanks from Alcala choir director.
Participated in the concert as soloists, the soprano Conchi Díaz Esperanza Leal and Rumbau contralto who, with their voices and a more than superb performance, were the delight of all attendees.
The musical accompaniment was provided by the choirmaster organistay Matsyura Liudmila replete with an interpretation, and musical direction Vicente Ariño Pellicer accounted for, lead teacher of the SLC, especially motivated because of their links with the Spanish School and, thanks to its high artistic ability, achieved the maximum brightness of all the performers, with truly sublime musical moments.
And they must do very well, because the applause of the large audience were several minutes.
As a long-awaited end, the end of the concert, the choir was honored with a dinner in style which created new links and strengthened existing ones.
