Its construction, under the dominion of the Goths in 527 by Bishop Ecclesia, was completed by the 27th Bishop Massimiliano raven, which was consecrated on 17 May 548 years under Byzantine rule.
The Basilica of San Vitale is an extraordinary example of Byzantine architecture in Ravenna Roman constructive leaks.
